Hi and welcome to my online portfolio of sewing and craft work!
I have a background in sewing, patternmaking and other general craftiness. For school I studied Theater in community college before focusing on Costume as an undergrad at California Institute for the Arts. After two years there I fell into work in various areas around the entertainment industry from costuming animatronic figures and patterning cold air inflatables to sewing costumes and making/repairing props for the movies.
I also have crafty hobbies ranging from quilting and fiber spinning(yup,with a spinning wheel) to Revolutionary War Re-enacting with my boyfriend. As a Spinner I am a member of the Ventura County Handspinners and Weavers Guild and often demonstrate with them in the greater LA and Ventura areas of California.
